A self-described “Island Gal,” Colleen Carey’s passion for island living and knowledge of Bahamian culture allows her to expertly guide her clients toward the ideal home that fits their personal lifestyle, whether on Harbour Island or anywhere throughout The Bahamas. A third-generation real estate professional, Colleen is keenly attuned to market trends and leans on this insight to help clients navigate the buying and selling process seamlessly, make educated investment decisions and maximize their returns.

As a former business owner and marketing professional, Colleen’s strengths are her entrepreneurial spirit, her perseverance and her “out of the box” thinking. Her years as a U.S. National team rugby player and Bahamian National team soccer player also heavily influenced her approach to business— and life—instilling in her the importance of values like determination, punctuality and goal-setting.

An avid world traveler with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and a minor in History, Colleen holds cultural and global connections in high regard, allowing her to connect with clients on a deeper level.In her spare time, she enjoys giving back to her community through volunteering and is the founder of the Nassau-based nonprofit organization HEY! (Health Empowerment through Yoga). Additional interests, hobbies and passions include practicing and teaching yoga; freediving; spearfishing; traveling; working out with family; reading; writing; and, photography.Colleen is also fluent in American Sign Language.
